Welcome to your Home screen! Simply put, your Home screen is the starting page that you see when you log in to your Mentimeter account. You can always click on the Mentimeter logo in the top left corner to return to this screen.
This is what you'll see when you log into Mentimeter:
From here you can create and access your recent presentations with just a few clicks.
Creating presentations
You can find 3 options to create a new presentation:
New Menti will create a blank presentation
Start with AI will take you to the AI Menti Builder
Import presentation will allow you to import an existing file (.ppt, .pptx, .key or .pdf)
Whichever you choose, you will be taken directly to the edit view, where you can start to edit your presentation.
You can also get started from our pre-made templates. Scroll down in the home screen to see some Template suggestions.
Keep scrolling down to see Popular features, which offers short tutorials on some of our most popular slide types for you to try out.
Finally, under Get to know Mentimeter you'll find inspiration in the form of text and videos showing the potential you have using Mentimeter.
My Presentations
On the left side of the Home screen you can see your workspace and presentation menus:
My presentations is where you'll find all your own personal presentations. Here you can organize your presentations into folders, and sort both the presentations and the folders according to 'Presentation name', the name of the owner.
If you are a Pro or Enterprise user, in the Shared with me folder you will find presentations that have been shared with you directly as a Collaborator.
Workspace presentations and Shared templates contain presentations and templates that you and others have shared with the whole team.
You can also use the search bar at the top of the screen if you are looking for a specific presentation:
Note: it is not currently possible to move presentations that you do not own into folders.
Instantly start a presentation
If you press the little Play-icon to the left, you can immediately start the presentation without having to open the editor first:

Click on the three dots to the right of the presentation to open the menu for different actions such as renaming the presentation, moving it to a folder, viewing the results, or inviting collaborators:

The menu in the bottom-left corner of your Home screen can direct you to some very useful links:

Help & support opens a knowledge hub panel where you can access materials to help you get started or get to know new features (videos, tutorials, help center, etc.).
Trash is where you'll find presentations that you've recently deleted from your account. They will remain in Trash for 30 days, during with time you can restore them to your account. After the 30 days, they will be permanently deleted.
The account menu
The menu at the top right of your dashboard can help you navigate straight to your settings, billing and team-management pages: Team Settings, Manage Members, Groups and Workspace insights (for Owners or Admins of Team accounts).
In the bottom-right corner of the screen you will see a small icon with a chatbox icon. This is where you can contact the support team.
