You can decide the emails you receive from Mentimeter. Different emails are controlled in different places, so find the type you want to stop below: marketing emails and newsletters, presentation results emails, or join code reminder emails.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails and newsletters
Every marketing email from Mentimeter has an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it opens your Mentimeter email preferences page, where you can choose exactly which categories of email you receive:
Open any marketing email from Mentimeter and click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.
On the email preferences page, untick the categories you no longer want, for example How-tos and inspiration, Events and promotions, Surveys and feedback, Menti Academy, Account and Workspace activity, or Email pixel tracking, and click Save my preferences.
To stop all of these emails at once, click Unsubscribe from all emails at the bottom of the preferences page instead.
Note that this page controls Mentimeter's mailing-list emails only. Presentation results emails and join code reminder emails are managed separately, as described below.
Turning off presentation results emails
By default, Mentimeter sends you an email with the results after your presentation. To turn these emails off:
Log in to Mentimeter and click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the page.
Select Account settings.
Under Email Notifications, switch the Presentation results toggle off. (The same section also has a Comments and replies toggle, which controls notification emails when someone comments on your presentations.)
Stopping join code reminder emails
The join code is the code your audience enters at menti.com to join your presentation. If you have extended a join code's expiry date, Mentimeter sends you a reminder email shortly before that code expires.
There is currently no setting to turn these reminder emails off. Because you have to explicitly extend the code's expiry date, the reminder is always sent for an extended code. To avoid receiving them, share your presentation with a participation link or a QR code instead of extending the join code, links and QR codes never expire, so no reminder email is ever triggered.
