How many responses have I received?

Learn where to find the total number of people that have participated in your presentation and how many responses you have received.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

During or after a presentation you may wonder how many responses you have received on a certain slide, or how many people in total have participated in your presentation. This is shown by the response counter and the participation counter on each slide. You can also find this information in the results page.

How many responses per slide?

While presenting with Mentimeter and using one of our Question Type slides you can see the number of responses that have been submitted to the question, as well as the total number of participants currently connected to the presentation, in the participant counter in the bottom left corner.

The participation counter displayed is updated in real-time and updates automatically as people submit their responses.

You will see 2 numbers: responses/active participants.

  • The 'responses' counter shows how many individual users have responded to this specific question.

  • The 'active participants' counter shows how many total participants have joined the presentation.

Note: The 'active participant' counter is reset after 2 hours of inactivity. If you go back to their Menti (in the editor or presentation mode) after that time, you will only see the 'responses' counter.

The 'active participants' counter does not reset when results are reset as participants can still be connected to the Menti.

Participant counters in the Results page

In the Results page, you can also see the participant counter (and response counter, where applicable) for each slide in the results page:
