Your Home screen in Mentimeter

Take a tour of your Home screen, where you can see and manage your presentations, and share them with others.

Welcome to your Home screen! Your Home screen is the starting page you see when you log in to your Mentimeter account. From the Home screen you can create a new Menti, find your recent Mentis, open Mentis shared with you, and reach your account settings. You can always return to the Home screen by clicking the Mentimeter logo in the top-left corner.

This is what you'll see when you log into Mentimeter:

The Mentimeter Home screen, showing the New Menti button and sidebar on the left, a search bar at the top, cards for creating a Menti Live, Menti Form or Menti Pulse, Start with AI shortcuts, a New results summary, and a Recently viewed row of Mentis.

From here you can create and access your recent Mentis with just a few clicks.

Creating a new Menti

To create a new Menti from the Home screen, click the black New Menti + button in the top-left corner, or use the cards at the top of the page. There are four options:

  • Menti Live creates a new blank Menti Live presentation, where you engage your audience with live polls, quizzes, word clouds, and Q&A.

  • Menti Form creates a new Menti Form: a survey your participants answer in their own time.

  • Menti Pulse creates a new Menti Pulse, for spotting problems with recurring check-ins.

  • Import presentation lets you import an existing file (.ppt, .pptx, .key or .pdf). Importing presentations is available on Basic, Pro, and Enterprise plans.

Whichever option you choose, Mentimeter takes you directly to the edit view, where you can start to edit your Menti.

Under Start with AI, you can also create a Menti from a goal — such as getting live feedback, brainstorming ideas, running a check-in, energizing the room, or making decisions.

Scroll down to see Popular features, which offer short tutorials on some of our most popular slide types for you to try out.

Finally, under Get to know Mentimeter you'll find inspiration in the form of text and videos showing the potential you have using Mentimeter.

On the left side of the Home screen you can see your workspace and Menti menus:
