Note: This feature is only available for Menti Live and Menti Form
Yes. When your audience is sharing devices, for example, a classroom where several students share one smartphone, each person can still respond separately. Turn on the Multiple submissions per device setting, and after each person finishes responding they tap Participate again so the next person can respond from the same device. Every participant is counted separately.
This setting is available in Menti Live (requires a Pro subscription) and in Menti Form (available on all plans).
Enabling multiple submissions per device in Menti Live
Multiple submissions per device in Menti Live requires a Pro subscription. The setting also requires the Survey Presentation mode, which you select in the same menu.
In the editor, open the Settings menu by clicking the icon in the top left side of the screen.
Under Type of Menti, select Survey.
Turn on the Multiple submissions per device toggle.
Responding to a Menti Live on a shared device
Prompt your audience to share their devices so everyone has the chance to submit answers. The first person responds to all the questions in the Menti Live presentation. At the end of the presentation, they tap Participate again to reload the presentation, and hand the device to the next person. Each person who responds this way is counted as a separate participant.
Note that the device is handed over at the end of the presentation, after the current person has responded to all questions — participants can't swap the device between individual questions.
On a Free plan? Open Ended and Word Cloud questions let your audience respond several times per device without a Pro subscription.
