The Word Cloud, also known as wordle or word collage, is one of Mentimeter's most popular question types. Simply ask your audience a question, and their responses will dynamically shape a Word Cloud that grows, expands, and transforms in real-time.
The most common responses will appear larger, making it easy to identify the most popular answers amongst your audience. This Word Cloud slide type will work best for short responses (up to 25 characters). If you need longer answers from your audience, you can use the Open Ended question type instead.
The word cloud can accept up to 400 unique words. If you receive more responses than that, the 400 most popular words will be visible on the screen. Please note, that the Word Cloud does not display capital letters. To keep things simple and avoid unwanted duplicates, all responses will be displayed in lowercase.

Removing unwanted entries
Add a profanity filter
If you think inappropriate words may be submitted by your audience, you can activate the profanity filter which will prevent those words from appearing in the Word Cloud.
To enable this filter:
Select the gear icon on the top left corner of the editor next to the presentation's name.
Select Language Preferences and under the Profanity Filter heading, select the language you wish to block inappropriate words from.
Select the Done button to save the changes.
Manually remove unwanted entries
If your audience submits undesired words that aren’t captured by our profanity filter, or if you’d like to tidy up the Word Cloud before exporting to PDF, you can manually remove unwanted entries. This can be done easily through the Mentimote or directly from the presentation view.
