The results page

Learn your way around the Results page, where you can see a summary of your session, the results of each question, each participant's answers, and export your results.

After your participants have responded, the Results page shows what they answered. For a Menti Live, the Results page opens on the Highlight tab, which gives you an executive summary of your session. The Questions tab shows the results of each question, and the Participants tab shows how each participant answered. For a Menti Form, the Results page has two tabs: Questions and Participants.

Finding the Results page

There are two ways to find the results page for any given presentation.

  1. From the My Mentis dashboard, you can click on the Has results button, or click on the three dots on the right of the presentation name, then click View results.

he My Mentis dashboard with the Has results button next to a Menti, and the View results option in the three-dot menu.

2. From the presentation editor: at the top of the screen you can find the Results tab:

The top of the Mentimeter editor showing the Results tab next to the Create tab.

The Highlight tab: your executive summary

The Highlight tab shows an executive summary of your Menti Live session. The Highlight tab is available for Menti Live only. The executive summary includes:

  • Engagement rate: the average share of questions your participants answered, shown as a percentage with a label such as Low or High.

  • Insights: short, AI-generated observations about your participants' responses.

  • Correct quiz answers: if your Menti Live contains quiz questions, the share of quiz answers that were correct and how many players answered correctly. Quiz results are shown together with your other results in the executive summary.

  • Total contributions: the total number of answers submitted across all questions in the session.

  • Q&A: if your Menti Live includes Q&A, the executive summary shows a Q&A row. The Q&A row contains a link to the Q&A section of the Results page.

Each row in the executive summary can be expanded to show more detail. For example, expand the Q&A row to see the questions your audience asked, or the Insights row to see all insights.

The Share button at the top right of the Results page lets you download a snapshot of the current page.

The Questions tab: results for each question

The Questions tab shows the results of each question in your Menti Live or Menti Form, with one chart per question. Next to each question you can see how many participants answered it, for example 4 / 5. Quiz questions also show the percentage of correct answers.

Next to each question you will also find a link icon, to copy a link to that question's results, and a download icon, to download that question's results on its own.

The Participants tab: how each participant answered

The Participants tab shows the Participants table, with one row per participant and one column per question. Read across a row to see how one person answered every question in the Menti.

The Engagement column shows how much of the Menti each participant answered, as a percentage. The bottom row of the Participants table sums up the session: the number of participants, the average engagement, and the share of participants who answered each question. Use the Participant menu above the table to sort participants by join order or by most engaged.

If you collected participant names, each row shows the participant's name. If you did not collect names, the session is marked Anonymous session and participants are listed as Participant 1, Participant 2, and so on. Mentimeter does not know who an anonymous participant is, the numbering only groups each person's answers together.

The Participants tab on the Menti Live Results page, marked Anonymous session, showing the Participants table with one row per participant, an Engagement column with each participant's engagement percentage, and a column with each participant's answers per question. The bottom row shows seven participants, 40% average engagement, and the share of participants who answered each question.

If you are using Verified Participants (available in Menti Live on the Enterprise plan), you can see who participated and what each person responded.

Downloading and exporting results

For Menti Live, the Export button at the top of the Questions and Participants tabs gives you the option to export the results to Excel, download the full Menti PDF, or select individual slides to download as PDF. Excel export, PDF export and image export are available on Basic, Pro and Enterprise plans.

To download the results of a single question, use the download icon next to that question on the Questions tab.

For Menti Form, the Export button is in the same place, at the top of the Questions and Participants tabs, and downloads an .xlsx file with your results.

For Menti Pulse, you will see the Download button, which lets you download Excel or PDF exports.

Syncing results to your Learning Management System (LMS)

If your Menti Live is connected to a Learning Management System (LMS), a Synchronize results banner appears at the top of the Questions and Participants tabs. Click the Sync to LMS button in the banner to send the results to your gradebook. The banner also shows when participation was last synced. LMS integration is available on the Enterprise plan. You can only sync the current session, the Sync to LMS button is not available when you view a past session.

Viewing previous sessions

When your Menti Live has more than one session, a Sessions list appears in the sidebar on the left of the Results page. Sessions are listed newest first, and the current session is selected by default.

Select any session in the sidebar to load its results. When you view a past session:

  • Results are read-only. You can view them, but not edit them.

  • You can delete the session.

  • Features such as AI Key Insights, AI Grouping for Open Ended slides, and LMS result syncing are not available.

  • The Excel export still includes every session, whichever one you are viewing.

A new session starts each time you clear your results.
