Enabling Workspace Discoverability in the Team Settings page will make your Mentimeter team discoverable for all Mentimeter users registered on domains specified by you. Which domains that will be able to find your team can be edited by your own preference.
Your team can be discovered in these ways:
Find Available Teams page, individual Mentimeter users can navigate to this page where your workspace will be listed for them to join.
SSO sign up message (Single Sign-On workspaces only), display a message in the sign up form encouraging your organization members to sign up and join your team with SSO directly.
Note: Before joining a Mentimeter team we always ask the user to verify their email.
How to enable Workspace Discoverability
Going to your Team Settings as an admin you will find the Workspace Discoverability setting under the Permissions section.
Checking this checkbox will now enable your team to be found by all users associated to the domains listed underneath. You simply edit which domains you want to expose your team to by clicking the Edit button after checking the check box.
Find available Teams
After enabling Workspace Discoverability your team can now be found. Through the profile menu in the top your organization members can navigate into the Find Available Teams page where your team will be listed. All users registered on the domains you’ve entered in the setting will find your team in this page.
If your workspace has enabled the requirement of admin permission for colleagues to join, the button will display "Request to join" instead of "Join". SSO sign up message
For our Enterprise customers using SSO (Single Sign-On) and with Workspace Discoverability setting enabled we will show a message in the sign up page prompting your Mentimeter team to your organization members. When entering one of your domains in the sign up page this message will appear.
In order to show this message you need to have both SSO and Workspace Discoverability enabled.
