Presenting bullet points effectively can make a significant difference in how your audience take in information. Whether you're using bullet points to break down complex ideas or listing key points in a concise manner, controlling how these points appear on your slides can enhance engagement and focus. With the Bullets slide type, you can customize the display of bullet points—either showing them all at once or revealing them one by one.

When you're in the Edit view and working on a Bullets slide, all the bullet points will be displayed on the screen, as shown in the image below:

You can choose to display the bullets as bullet points or as a numbered list. For the latter, toggle “Use numbered list” in the extras section.

When you present a slide that includes bullet points, all bullets will be displayed at once by default. If you prefer to display the bullets one by one, you can disable “Show all bullets at once” in the Extras section of the "Content" tab:

If your slide is set to display each bullet point individually during the presentation, simply press the down or right arrow key on your keyboard to reveal the bullet points one at a time. The bullets will appear one at a time, and an underlined arrow will indicate when you've reached the last bullet. To remove the bullet points from the screen, press the left or up arrow key on your keyboard.

Once all the bullet points are on the screen, pressing the right arrow again will move to the next slide. You can find out more about keyboard shortcuts in this article: Keyboard Shortcuts.
