With Mentimeter it is possible to re-use a presentation, by creating a new historical session, as many times as you need as a Presenter. This can be used for instances where you would like to present again, gathering time-specific results for the same audience, or presenting to a new audience. To learn how to create a new historical session, for the same presentation, check out this help article.
By creating a new session, this makes it possible to collect and compare answers from each time the questions are asked, in order to identify trends. If you work in a business setting, the use of trends, for example, can be especially useful when administering a pulse check for employees, to gauge how the results change over time. Be creative and feel free to adapt this handy feature to your own needs.
See historical data and trends
Once you have reset results and collected your answers from different sessions, you can access and compare the historical data.
How to see your historical data
Start the Menti and navigate to a slide where you have previously received responses
Click on the three dots in the Presentation manu at the bottom of the slide and select Show history
3. Choose any of the previous sessions
Please Note: This Show History button will only be accessible on Interactive Slides (slides that can receive responses) and not Content slides.
How to show trends
If you have more than two sessions for a Scales or a Multiple Choice slide, it is possible to show a visual representation of how the results change over time. A button will appear at the bottom-left of the screen called Show trends.
You will then see a graph showing how results have changed through the different sessions:
Kindly note, the trends feature is currently only available for Scales slides and Multiple Choice slides.
