Importing is available on Basic, Pro, and Enterprise plans. It is not available on the Free plan.
Important — imported slides become static images. Animations are not preserved, and the slides can no longer be edited as text in Mentimeter. To keep animations, embed your PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation instead (Pro or Enterprise plan required) — see [Embed a PowerPoint presentation into Mentimeter] or [Embed a Google Slides presentation into Mentimeter]. If your presentation contains videos, add them to your Menti separately using a Video slide.
Good to know: Supported file formats: .ppt, .pptx (PowerPoint), .key (Keynote), and .pdf.
Limits: maximum file size is 60 MB, and a Menti can hold a maximum of 200 slides in total — the slides already in your Menti plus the slides you import must not exceed 200.
How do I import a presentation file into a new Menti?
On your Mentimeter home page, click the New Menti button to create a new Menti.
In the editor, select the Import slides button on the slide canvas (the main editing area).
Upload the file from your computer by dragging and dropping it, or by browsing your files.
The imported slides appear as a slide deck in the Mentimeter editor.

Accessibility note: if you upload a PDF that contains selectable text, Mentimeter automatically extracts that text and adds it as alt text on the imported slide images, so screen readers can describe them.
Can I import a Google Slides presentation into Mentimeter?
Not directly: Google Slides is not a supported import format. To use a Google Slides presentation in Mentimeter:
In Google Slides, download your presentation as a .pptx or .pdf file (File → Download).
Import that file into Mentimeter following the steps above.
If you want to keep animations and live editing instead, you can embed your Google Slides presentation into Mentimeter (Pro or Enterprise plan required).
What do imported slides look like for my audience?
Imported slides are static images. When participants join your Menti on their voting device (their phone, tablet, or computer), each imported slide appears as an image on their screen.
If a slide contains detailed information and looks too small on a phone, participants can tap the slide to view a larger version, or turn their device to landscape mode for a more optimized view.
