With the Scales question type, participants can rate one or more statements by dragging a slider between two values. This is good to use if you want participants to rate their agreement with a statement, give a numeric answer, or rate several statements against the same scale.

To create a Scales question press the + Create button in the top-left corner of the editor and select Scales.

Now that the Scales question has been added, you can write your question by clicking the question field on the slide canvas and typing. You can also add a description in the field just below it.

Click directly on a statement field to type your statement. To add another one, click + Add statement below the existing statements.

You can also change the labels at either end of the scale (for example, "Disagree" and "Agree") by clicking directly on those labels on the slide canvas and typing new text.

In the Edit tab on the right side panel you can adjust further settings for the Scales question:

You can add individual labels to each value in the scale, make responses required for this question (so participants cannot move on without responding), and add an image to the question.
