Open Ended questions allow participants to type in free-text answers to your questions. This question type allows participants to answer using up to 200 characters.
How to create Open Ended questions in Menti Form
To create an Open Ended question in Menti Form, click the + Create button and select Open ended:
Once added, you can click into the question field to add your question. You can also add a longer description in the field below the question if you want to add more context.
Customizing your Open Ended question
On the Edit panel to the right, you can find various options to customize your Open Ended question.
You can make answering this question mandatory before participants can move on to the next question by toggling Response required.
You can also allow participants to submit multiple responses by toggling Multiple answers, and you can specify the maximum number of submissions under Number of responses.
Finally, you can add an image to your question by clicking on the + button next to Image in the Design section.
