How to recover a deleted Menti in Mentimeter

Learn how to restore a presentation that you ahve accidentally deleted.

If you’ve accidentally deleted a Menti, you can get it back in just a few clicks. Mentimeter keeps recently deleted Mentis in a dedicated Trash folder, so you have time to recover them before they’re gone for good.

Open the Trash folder

From your Dashboard, look at the bottom of the left-hand menu and select Trash. This section contains all Mentis that have been deleted within the last 30 days.

Locate and restore your Menti

Scroll through the list to find the Menti you want to restore. When you’re ready, click Restore next to the presentation’s name. Mentimeter will immediately move it back to your My Mentis folder, keeping all your slides, questions and settings intact.

Keep in mind: You will find your Mentis in your My Mentis folder no matter where it was located before being deleted. If the recovered Menti was in another folder, you will need to manually move it back to your preferred location after recovery.

Good to know

  • Mentis will only remain in the Trash folder for 30 days before they are permanently deleted.

  • Restored Mentis appear exactly as they were when deleted, so you can continue editing or presenting without any extra setup.
