For certain Mentis, you may be required to authenticate your identity by logging in before joining. This feature enhances transparency and security in Mentimeter presentations.
How to log in as a participant
1. Joining an Authenticated Menti
Use the provided Menti link or QR code to join.
If authentication is required, you will be prompted to Sign In using your organization’s SSO.
2. Signing In
Follow the sign-in instructions.
Your email address and name will be provided to Mentimeter from your IDP. You will not be able to edit these in any way.
Note: If you’re already signed in to Mentimeter, you will still need to login as this is a separate login flow to the rest of the platform. We do this as we need to ensure that you are authorised to join this specific Menti.
3. Responding to Questions
A presenter can choose if your name should be visible in the presentation or not. You will be notified if this is the case before responding. Your responses will be stored together with your email address and name, as provided by your IDP.
Troubleshooting
Unable to Join: Ensure that you are using the correct account, and if needed, check with your IDP admin to ensure you are there.
