You can control when to display or hide your presentation's joining instructions. This can be done for both the QR code and the numeric code.
Show or hide the instructions in the Edit view
In each slide's Edit menu, you will find a section called Joining instructions.
These options allow you to enable or disable the joining instructions, choose whether to show a QR code on the right side of the slide or only the numeric code to be used at menti.com for participation (in the bottom-right corner).
For interactive slides, Show joining instructions will by toggled on and set to QR code by default. This way the QR code will be displayed each time an interactive slides appears on screen. To disable this, toggle the Show joining instructions option.
For content slides, such as Text and Image slides, the joining instructions will be disabled by default.
You can also apply the settings you've chosen for a particular slide to all slides in the Menti by clicking Apply to all.
Hide the joining instructions while presenting
While presenting you can use the 'i' hotkey to quickly show or hide the QR code.
You can also click on the Show joining instructions button in the Presentation menu at the bottom of the slide:
You can also control this using the Mentimote:
Open the Mentimote (Pro feature)
Press the Hide QR button at the bottom
If you want to send out the joining instructions in advance instead or want your audience to connect with the presentation in another way, hiding the instructions can be a useful feature to avoid redundant information.
