If you have slides in your presentation that you want to keep but hide from the audience, you can use the Skip slide feature. A skipped slide remains in the slide overview panel but is merely hidden when you present a slide deck.

Skipping slides is particularly useful if you have limited time to present and want to hide some of the slides, or perhaps there is information that is not relevant to certain audiences.

How to skip slides

  1. Select the slide you want to skip in the slide overview panel

  2. Right click on the slide, or click the six dots “...” next to the slide

  3. Select “Skip slide” in the drop down menu

The skipped slides will be greyed out and marked with a ghost icon. To have the slide appear in your presentation again, click the ghost icon or right click/press the six '...' dots next to the slide again and select “Unskip slide”.
