Make your presentations accessible to all and make sure every voice is heard.

Updated yesterday

Great slides aren’t just engaging—they’re accessible to everyone. That’s why we have a built-in Accessibility Check to help you spot and fix common issues as you build.

In this article, you’ll learn what the Accessibility Check does, how it works and how it helps you and your audience.

What is the Accessibility Check?

The Accessibility Check reviews your presentation and gives real-time feedback on common accessibility issues to make sure your slides can be used by everyone.

To open it, click the Settings (cogwheel) icon in the top-left corner of your presentation, then choose Accessibility from the menu.

What does it check for?

Here are some of the key things the Accessibility Check looks for:

  • Color contrast issues: Ensures that text is readable against background colors—especially important for users with impaired vision.

  • Alt text reminders: Prompts you to add descriptions to images so screen readers can interpret them.

  • Slide clarity suggestions: Flags content that may be harder to follow for users with cognitive or visual processing differences.

You’ll get suggestions in a simple, easy-to-follow format so that you can make your presentation more accessible.

Why accessibility matters

Inclusive presentations help everyone stay engaged. They’re easier to see, follow, and interact with, whether someone is using assistive tech, viewing on mobile, or focusing in a busy environment. The Accessibility Check helps you stay aligned with common accessibility standards while supporting you in creating not just better presentations, but more inclusive ones too.
