You can change the language of the Mentimeter platform and editor as well as the participation flow for your audience on menti.com.
If you change the language for participants, most buttons and messages will automatically appear and be translated in the language you’ve selected for your audience once they join.
Note: while you can select 32 different languages for participants, it is currently only possible to set the language for mentimeter.com to English or German. We are always working on improving your experience and will be adding new languages in the future.
How to change the language of the mentimeter.com platform
It is currently possible to set the Mentimeter platform and editor to either English or German.
To change this, go to your account settings menu and select the language you prefer in the Language section:
How to change the language for participants on menti.com
Go to you Mentimeter presentation in the Editor view.
Clicking on the gear icon in the top left corner to open the Settings menu.
Select Language preferences.
This will open a menu where you can change the presentation language, set a default language, and activate the Profanity Filter in the selected language.
The join instructions and the elements on the menti.com webpage will now be updated and translated into the selected language.
Currently, you can choose from a wide range of languages, including Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Welsh.
