If you feel that you absolutely do not have a need for a Mentimeter account anymore, or simply because you have accidentally created one, you can delete your own account from your account settings and it will be removed from our server.

Note: Once your account is deleted, all data, including presentations and results will be permanently deleted within 14 days and cannot be restored.

You will see this message with some information about what will happen to your presentations and data after deletion. If you wish to proceed, click the button "Continue deleting account".

Next you will be asked to confirm which account you want to delete. To proceed, click "Continue".

Finally, you will be asked to select a reason for deleting your account and to confirm the email address connected to the account before proceeding:

After clicking "Delete account" you will see this message confirming that your account has been deleted:

If you wish to delete the account in order to create a new one or you are trying to join a team using the same email address, please contact us so we can help you with this.

If you are a member of a team, feel free to reach out to us at hello@mentimeter.com to request for your account to be removed from our server.
