If you are running Mentimeter on a company network, security settings can sometimes limit the use of some features in Mentimeter. This may cause one or more of the following (and similar) issues: 

  • Inability to log into your Mentimeter account
  • Presentations will not load
  • Unable to see questions, in particular, quiz questions

If you are experiencing one or more of the following issues, please send the following information to your local IT support:

Ports 80 and 443 are required to be open for the following hosts:

www.menti.com
api.mentimeter.com
static.mentimeter.com
user-api.mentimeter.com
quiz-api.mentimeter.com
core-api.mentimeter.com
realtime-api.mentimeter.com
cdn.contentful.com
mentimeter-user-content.imgix.net
mentimeter-user-content.s3.amazonaws.com

It is also required that your browser and network support WebSockets over Https.
