Presenter notes are a useful feature when presenting as you can look at them to remember important points whilst talking in front of an audience. You can make Presenter notes as detailed or short as you want.

How to add Presenter notes

In the Edit view underneath the main slide area, you will see a text box where you can type your notes. You can add Presenter notes to every slide.

After you click 'Presenter notes' the field will expand for you to add your notes:

How to present with Presenter notes

When you start your presentation and press “Present(in the top right-hand corner), your Presenter notes aren’t visible. To view your Presenter notes you will need the Mentimote which you can access both via desktop computer and smartphone.

The Presenter notes will appear in the middle of the Mentimote page on the computer or on your smartphone. As you progress through your presentation, the Presenter notes will advance too and automatically change to match the current slide in your presentation.

Present from your desktop computer

This is how it will look like when you present with the Mentimote from your desktop computer:

Present from your smartphone

To view Presenter notes on the Mentimote on your phone, you will need to hit “Present” along the bottom menu bar:

Your notes will then appear and you can go to the previous slide or next slide.

Pro tip: If you are going to share your screen, only share the tab where you have the presentation displayed. Then you can open the Mentimote in a new tab on your computer that only you will see. Alternatively you can use Mentimote on your phone. Log into your Mentimeter account on your smartphone and open Mentimote on the presentation you want.
